SCS Awards & Achievements

Moni Malawi...

SCS Group were first introduced to Moni Malawi in 2009 by Mr Scott McMillan (Chairman). When first introduced SCS intended to build a two class roomed school but as it transpired there was no water facilty. SCS Group then installed a working water well that was completed in February 2010.

The School...

With Moni Malawi the original intention was to have a two class roomed school built for the children who were previously being taught with a black board under a tree. Due to various fundraising events SCS Group are delighted to announce the completion of a four class roomed school and hopefully able to add a children's nursery to the site. Completion date August 2011.

Youth Community Work...

As well as charity SCS sponsor a variety of local youth organisations, which include Leven Thistle FC, East Kilbride Calderglen FC, Westerton United FC, Barrachnie Thistle FC, New Stevenson Amateurs, GMJV Youth Club and Whitecraigs Rugby Club.

Spean Bridge Memorial...

When SCS read an article in one of the Sunday Newspapers we saw that Spean Bridge Memorial, dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces raised during World War II was documented that is was in need of repair and maintenance. SCS volunteered to restore, clean and re-bronze the statue.

SCS were thrilled when recognised of the works which had been done to the memorial by the Royal Family with a letter of thanks coming from the Queen Mother who unveiled the monument in 1952 with thanks to the soldiers.
